Making a goal, or commitment to do achieve something can all sound great when the bright idea first appears in our heads. That dream of loosing 20 pounds, or releasing a number one record, or whatever that is for you, will of course motivate us in those initial moments; but what happens when challenge comes and things take longer than we hoped.
When the storm raises it’s ugly head, or you feel so compelled to burst into song in front of your whole office, (not that I would do such a thing!) when that dream, or goal looks to be delayed and frustration threatens to take you out.
Just keep turning up. It will all make sense eventually. We don’t need to have it all figured out from the beginning all the time.
There is a principle that goes around that we reap what we sow. If this is true, as I believe it is then regardless to the circumstances around us, if we can show that we are resistant to the storms that raise their head and keep showing up. Our time will come, and the pay off will be well worth the wait.
Sow a good seed, despite the soil. After all, it’s the seed that really counts.
Keep turning up, and never give up.
